This Christmas, Track Santa’s Journey around the World with Google

Google is back with its fun Santa tracker that lets users count down the days left for Christmas. The Santa tracker website that has already gone live consists of a series of interactive games, quizzes and educational lessons, with each one marking the days left till Christmas.

Staring from the 1st of December, each day unlocks a specific game or a project specially designed to keep kids entertained throughout the month, while quizzes like ‘candy cane cartography’, holiday tradition tests and JavaScript lessons aim to make learning enjoyable.

Google has also launched a Chrome extension and an Android application besides the website bringing the action right to the screens of desktop and mobile users. This is something that Google did last year as well for its 2013 Santa tracking event. This year’s website carries forward all the fun elements like the ‘race with reindeer’ game, and also the big timer that counts down the days, hours, minutes and the seconds left for Christmas.

On the other hand, Microsoft, along with Bing and NORAD, has also launched its own Santa tracking website that includes games, music, movies and a library containing all sorts of stuff to bring cheer to kids waiting for Santa’s arrival on Christmas.
